User Expectations for Mobile Mixed Reality Services: an Initial User Study
User Expectations for Mobile Mixed Reality Services: an Initial User Study paper reports the findings of the initial study on end-users' expectations of Mobile Mixed Reality services, conducted in Dec. 2008. The paper was presented at ECCE'09 European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics 2009 in Helsinki, Finland. The paper is written by Thomas Olsson, Pirita Ihamäki, Else Lagerstam, Leena Ventä-Olkkonen and Kaisa Väänänen-Vainio-Mattila.
The objectives were approached by evaluating various scenarios describing how such services could ease the everyday life. The most important expectations were related to contextual relevance and reliability of the MMR content. Since that, research on user expectations has been continued with various methods, and publishing of the most recent results is in progress.
