Expected User Experience of Mobile Augmented Reality Services
Mobile Mixed Reality Work Package participated in the Workshop on Mobile Augmented Reality held at the 13th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services (MobileHCI), presenting the paper "Expected User Experience of Mobile Augmented Reality Services" by Thomas Olsson and Kaisa Väänänen-Vainio-Mattila.
To ensure the acceptance of mobile augmented reality (MAR) services in the future, their development should be based on knowledge of expectations of potential end-users. The authors have researched this with multiple methods in various cases. The paper summarizes their findings from an experiential point of view: What kind of experiences are MAR services expected to evoke? This knowledge can be used when setting UX targets for user-centered design of MAR services.
