DIEM Thesis: Calendar Synchronization in a RDF-Based Smartspace Environment

Interoperability Work Package and Embedded Systems Laboratory of Åbo Akademi present a new DIEM related Master of Science thesis "Calendar synchronization in a RDF-based smartspace environment" by Emil Karlsson.

To test the smartspace approach in a well known field, an application for synchronizing multiple calendars was created using the DIEM code package.
The main goal of the application is to showcase how the agent – smartspace modular build methodology can be applied in real life. The application as a whole should be able to synchronize the event data from at least two calendars, of which one is an online Google Calendar and one an iCal standard compatible local calendar.
