Visualizing User Activity Pilot Report

Motivating physical activity is an important application of persuasive computing. The aim of persuasive technologies, as implied by the name, is to motivate, nudge and push people toward making more desired decisions. Physical activity falls under lifestyle decisions, where the general aim is to promote healthier ways to live, consequently improving life expectancy and reducing medical care costs. The result is thus desirable for both the individual and also the society.

This deliverable is a report describing the experiences gathered from the pilots where the user activity was visualized.
