Semantic Interoperability Demonstration Results

This document describes the current implementation as well as upcoming solutions for the semantic interoperability between the different parts implemented in the DIEM Building Automation ecosystem. Currently, the interoperability is implemented based on the usage of standard oBIX interface and data format. In addition, local level semantic data is supported by defining basic oBIX contracts for the device data. As the upcoming solution, we present the usage of linked data to ensure the semantic interoperability on a global level across different domains.
