Report: On Using Smart-M3 in the Personal Information System

Meeting Minder Smart Space Application (MMSA) is a Smart Space Application (SA), which uses DIEM application development platform. This report describes the architecture and implementation of the MMSA.

The MMSA is implemented using `C' based SIB interface and code generator developed at AAU. This application is based on simple
concept of `Meeting', using actor-model. In general the concept of meetings is: an organizer schedules a meeting. If a person wants to get the meeting schedules and meeting minutes, he has to subscribe with corresponding mailing system. Once registered with mailing system then he will get scheduled meeting details and meeting minutes. After receiving meeting details he will decide, according to his calendar schedules, whether he wants to attend this meeting or not. If he wants to attend he will join the meeting on meeting date and time. In the meeting the discussion will be take place according to its agenda, if he wants to discuss on some issues in the meeting he can do that. The same meeting concept (except discussion in the meeting, because discussion should be take place between attendees) is implemented in this thesis using Smart Space technology.

Meeting Minder Smart Space Application is an application that uses Smart Space technology with agent-based philosophy. The goals of this work are Implementing an ontology (MMO) and using it to provide semantic interoperability among agents of SA (MMSA).
