Designing for UX in Smart Environments

The deliverable 'Designing for UX in Smart Environments' is made in a form of a master's thesis. The goal of this thesis was to define the characteristics of user experience in smart environments and its implications to design. Moreover, the goal was to sketch a vision for an interface concept in smart environments. The research questions were: 1. What are the characteristics of user experience that are specific to smart environments? 2. What are users' needs and expectations for interaction in different types of smart environments? The study situates in the fields of use experience research and human-computer interaction.
