Problem of the Day

The 'Problem of the Day' project integrates some of DIEM results, focusing on
- ThereGate gateway, architecture and devices (There Corporation) and
- ZigBee network (Aalto university)
to easy-to-use and intuitive use cases, which will be installed to DIEM ApplicationLab Demola site. The use cases will thus stay connected to the physical space of the premises and everyday life in them. The team behind the implementation consists of four students of TUT.

The sub-tasks inside this project are
- conception of the use cases based on a set of different sensors and devices
- decision of the use cases to be implemented and acquire the needed hardware in cooperation with project partner and
- implementation of the use cases.
As the result, the ready-to-use device set-ups will stay in Demola, which will serve as the show-room for these. Successful results will also be promoted by DIEM promotional means.
