Energy Services in Small Houses

“Energy Services in Small Houses” demo’s mission is to show that energy management in single family houses is not only feasible, educating and environmentally friendly but also economically rewarding. Considering that the price of energy (gas, electricity, and gasoline) is rising faster than the inflation, at some point the total cost of monthly energy bill shall exceed the level that a family can afford. Therefore it is important that families living in single family houses are accustomed to pay attention to their energy usage and taught to take advantage of solutions which reduce the monthly energy bill.

This demo implements two high level use cases, 'Rate Control' and 'Load Monitoring' which help families to reduce their energy spending while learning which appliances actually consume most of the energy.
